i like how this one is all built around a sound that has a really buzzy, squelchy attack to it; making something like that really work for you, deliberately leaning into its quality, is a cool route to take. there was an old keffie entry to sample pack contest 8 that did this with a noisy synthy sample that devolved into scratchy distortion; letting that just ring out whenever it happened instead of treating it like something to be avoided. lovely.

agree with dami, this is the kind of sound I usually shy away from with FM so it's a cool idea to make a whole song with it, and you use it well!
