All of the sounds used in this short track were captured in wide stereo during a bit of wandering around the neighborhood where I grew up. Along the ocean and through the streets. It's pretty sleepy and desaturated there. The mixture of disjointed feelings and associations I have around this place probably caused the mood to be what it is.

I tried something new here as an experiment— two photos which were taken there are also embedded in the audio at the start and end, they can be seen using a spectrogram viewer.

i want to say i would have noticed the images in the audio if i didn't know in the first place because it has a very distinct whispery data noise sound to it. definitely a cool way to embody the location into the music
