Thank you! The initial learning curve to understand the architecture and find a suitable editor was challenging, but modifying sounds is pretty intuitive; just scratching the surface of what is possible so far

There's the black-MIDI craziness with MSGS to achieve sounds that are not possible the traditional way - with hardware, black-MIDI is often too much data for the interface and the buffers. What's the limitbreaker then? well, see what you can abuse out of the synth-engine's configuratbility with a bigger choice of CCs, RPs but also NRPs and sysex messages!

Totally, the format is ripe for this I think; compared to GS and even XG, the MT-32 has greater potential for advanced sound design, due to the synthesized waveforms, 13 partial layer structures + ability to assign any timbre to the drum map.

MUNT can be edited, but unfortunately doesn't send sysex back out, so you can't do patch / param request from it, only send data to it, definitely still usable this way, just less convenient.

Been considering making a video on editing workflow, if there is interest.
