Combining two of my main interests from my teenage years; chiptune and post-rock.
While the bass goes lower than a NES can, I did limit myself to 2 simultaneous square channels. My idea was to go for a "NES/Gameboy + live band" scenario.
Virtual instruments used:
Guitars - Surge XT
Square waves - Magical 8bit Plug
Drums - Spitfire LABS
I spent way too much time just improvising with this instrumentation, and had to scramble to make something coherent out of it. Even then, it's kinda sloppy...
