Everything flows so seamlessly despite the contrast and variety. Love it!
before the beginning of time, a god is defeated by its creations in a meaningless battle that decides and accomplishes nothing.
okay so real talk this is a song about the struggle of fictional characters for freedom from the shackles of the narrative, and questioning whether their suffering is real, and whether it matters if there are people finding solace in the story.
music arranged in Reason 11, vocals recorded using my trusty dusty AKG D5 through a Behringer U-Phoria UM2 interface. the singing is mine. hope it's enough for the category.
Lyrics:
Et in Ipsum oculum observa;
Verus imaginatae et noli timere!
Inlisa mobilia,
Qui sentit dolorem suum?
Potest enim spiritus sanguinem?
Cogitavi in somnis potest?
In illis luctu, certamen eorum;
Qui solatio?
(Intended) English:
"In the eye of the creator,
Real and imagined fears!
Colliding, and shifting,
who feels their pain?
Can a spirit bleed?
Can a thought have dreams?
In their struggle, their sorrow,
Who finds solace?"
