If you gotta use pcm, those drums are definitely the samples to do it with. Great big sound, complimented by the smooth 2151 synths.

an outdated term, I recently learned, for the warmth of the sun during the winter. the tune, in this case, serves in part as a musical take on the collective pleasantness of a crisp day covered in sunlight while still trampling on the brittle sticks, hardened mud, and other crunchy tokens of the cold.
made via furnace using the ym2151 and sega pcm (used for drums only). playback is rendered from vgm playback on foobar2000 via audacity. a fun collab with damifortune who helped give the track some much-needed life with the brassy counterpoint!
