Winter Mangoes are Just as tasty

Here, even though we can have several fruits year-long, mangoes are at their best at Spring. However, Winter mangoes are still green, but they have a sweet-tart-sour flavor that goes perfect with some salt and chili powder.

You'll discover that Winter mangoes are just as tasty... if not more.

the sound design here is absolutely amazing

I refuse to believe this is a VRC7, its just another level of magical

...now
I really don't wanna be that guy, but...

0:12-0:24 - this part has a... sorta detuning to it, maybe its to reference how the winter mangoes are "sweet-tart-sour" flavoured, but I have slight mixed feelings on it

still

everything else here is amazing, especially the transition in the second half

@SRB2er Thanks for the feedback, it is always appreciated.

The typical piano pattern that salsa and, in general, Latin music has is called "montuno". And yes, it has a lot of passing notes which lead to a lot of chromaticisms. I also noticed that some passing notes from the montunos clashed with the general harmony, but I couldn't check them all due to the tight deadline.

Hope that doesn't make the experience less fun.

Edit: I'm hearing it again... and perhaps it's not the montunos' fault. Maybe I overdid a little the detuning in the channel layering of trumpets, which I used to create the effect of "many" trumpets.
