The first few notes reminded me of Raphael the Raven's theme from Tetris Attack. And then when that breath sample came in, I recognized it immediately as being from Narshe. This is really beautiful!

My main objective was to find a way to work that sample into the composition, because it really is a great sample, but I had a hard time finding a place for it in the song at first.

You know, this also reminds me of Final Fantasy X in a way. (Also I need to give you 7 for thumb-blister because I can only imagine the pain I would be in if I were playing that harp for so long)

Yeah...I used the harp pretty unnaturally here. Its pretty funny, though, how SNES samples can sound so different (and good) when played in unnatural ways. That arp was the first pattern I made for this track and I just layered stuff on top of that :B
