This is the second time this user has done this -- last time around, it was Elwood's "Unknown Phuture". Pretty blatant copy+pasting on both counts, now that it's happened twice.

Clearly, this path is fake.


[EDIT] I think seeking forwards/backwards in the BotB player is triggering the auto-fave? Definitely didn't hit the button, but I only clicked the "Listen" link once.

@Xaser I also auto-fave'd this despite only playing once and clicking around the player. Also I can't seem to donload the XM for this entry specifically, is anyone else getting an error?

As for the track itself, it's much like your other songs where it borrows a lot of samples and motifs from old trance modules. Personally it doesn't stand out enough to keep my attention for six and a half minutes.

@uploader: dont submit remixes or covers to battles, originals only! last time you said you tried to make it original, but the general approach of copypasting full sections of content is not the way to go if you want it to be an original piece. until the entry period ends in a few days, you can still resubmit this with another thing that is not plagiarizing things to death

Especially the ones spotlit, especially Point of Departure - I'm one in the screening crew of modarchive, and yes, these tunes have really strong vibes of Elwood, Anvil - but when does it count as remix and not original work? I'll change my mind if a good explanation and reason is given. Truly is that I feel little sorry for them to be discouraged from the site - they've not been here since autumn. But I may be blind from lack of knowledge.
