I'm not sold on the notion that TikTok is some meticulous CCP plot to sabotage Western society, but it's a fun meme to toy around with. Mostly, I think TikTok is just excruciatingly stupid, aesthetically repugnant, and almost literally unbrowsable on desktop.

For full effect, burn the HTML file to a three inch CD-R and include an AUTORUN.INF file that launches it in an Internet Explorer window. For bonus points, replace the contents of the HTML file with a barebones HTTP redirect to a long-vanished .CN site that was only crawled once, partially, by the Internet Archive.

(And yes, as best as I can tell, the literal translation of the Chinese term for the Ministry of Public Security, the agency responsible for Chinese internet censorship, is in fact "Male Install Department")
