I was tempted to agree with you re: the SN76489. I mean, it's basically a worse 2A03, and it lacks the eccentricities that make the 1970s chips endearing. But for some reason everyone really gave it their all with this one. This might be the overall strongest showing for all of Advent. The bitpack really helps, carnival music is right in the SN76489's sweet spot (some might argue it's the entirety of the SN76489's sweet spot).
Anyway, this entry doesn't disappoint! Very funky, kind of reminds me of Treasure Master.
