War and Human Progress started out as a Famicom song in 2004. Of Matter was written in the 90's but never sequenced; A demo recorded with guitar, Roland Juno-60, bass, and drums may exist somewhere in the world.

Of Matter words (not present in this recording):

sheepish
sorry
another glass in hand

darling
a wider angle
void of
matter

the deadline unfolds
at a lost for a quote

darling

cost you

those plans will never hold

I wouldn't think that someone would use multiple SPC700s to make two awesome tunes! Nice!

It's all the pitch modulation. Some instruments are using up to 8 channels.

It was less of a hassle than I thought it would be. I'm only slightly annoyed by the volume level of the bass on the second song. I may fix it if I have time.

I uploaded a new recording of the songs. Hopefully War and Human Progress sounds better. Of Matter has a bit added in the 3rd verse.

@OrdinateIsDead: I only have two.

@dpc: Sure, I made one module, with eight tracks. This contained drums for the first song, and drums and bass for the second song. I then made eight other modules with the other parts. Once these were converted to ROMs I recorded each part from my SNES to my compy. I ended up adjusting some volume levels on the fly during recording.

Sick drops in the rhythm melody dude! And I love the thrash beat section following. Lots of cool complex progressions mang, nice!
