[insert standard greeting here]

Some of the sounds on this song vary a bit depending on what it is played back on. For best results, listen to the mp3 as that is what I was going for. Please note, a little variation in the synth can happen when resetting the system.

For best results:
Real hardware (or mp3), higan, snes9x(?)

Some of the spc players play the song as it sounds *after* a reset.

Adding or removing any commands or notes will also affect how the synth sounds.

I added the KFF distortion effect at the end as it didn't affect the way the synth sounded much and only added 9 bytes. I did not test this feature as much as I could have.

The feedback effect has some varitaion. When I recorded the song, it was the first time I played it on real hardware and everything faded out nicely. Apparently, this is rare. Since that time I have only heard it do that once or twice. Most of the time the feedback keeps going.

That was a lot of text, if you are still reading this please enjoy the following:

spc

it src
(it commands have been repurposed, so playing it back in a tracker will probably not work well)

Well fuckin done mate. This is very cool. I really like the grooves on that drum beat, and everything else is pretty damn crazy.

This is a great story piece. The song fits really well with what snowboarding is like.

@th4 D34D Cheers, initally there was more craziness but it felt a bit distract-y and I felt a snowboarder would have laser liker focus.

@CreepyCrawly hopefully I'll update with the full story sometime. Had I known about the extension, I would have planned my week differently.

Coming up with the name took longer than anything. I should have made the decision to use the first name I came up with a long time ago.

@YERZMYEY Cheers, it was one of two songs I considering submitting. The other song ended up in Wild Chip.

I did not get around to anything besides SNES. I wouldn't mind digging the old Amiga out of the closet and firing up Octamed!

This is full of all kinds of disturbing sounds that are good, and the way this gets crazier as it goes on is also good.

@b00daw: yeah, I should, I just can't be bothered to create another account on another website. Perhaps... someday?

@charlotte: cheers, I don't usually use more than one channel for drums. This track was a rare exception. For me this song was all about the snowboard grinding sound, software generated waveforms, and cheap-o Namco 163 waveforms.
