We fought through so many battles, gone through so many challenges, overcome so much together.
But all of this was for naught, as every single future that was prophesied ends in failure.

It is fate.
No matter what we do, the world will be destroyed, and everyone will die.

As I look upon my companions, they stand with somber expressions.
Bodies caked with dirt, tired dull eyes that stare blankly at our impossible task ahead.
The Destroyer of Worlds awaits us, patiently mocking us for our inevitable demise.

Although defeat seems like the only possibility, I remember a phrase that my grandfather once said.
"As long as you still have hope, you can make the impossible happen."
I grasp my sword and with a determined face, I turn to the others.
Though I say not a word, my feelings are conveyed through my unyielding eyes.

Everyone begins to realize that there is no going back, that this is something that needs to be done.
We have to hope that the prophecies are wrong...no, we will prove that they are wrong.
Since we are those who defy fate!
