The Tower of Dreams
A song that i have started writing a month ago, and have finally finished today. I was going for a "Final Dungeon" feel with that one, though I've imagined it not as a dungeon but a castle in the sky instead.
Made in Dn-FamiTracker 0.4.0.1, using VRC6 and MMC5 expansion chips.

Sounds fantastic! Awesome mix of sounds, although the noisy hi-hat elements are a bit noisy, but overall it's super well done!

The noisy hi-hats are the result of me having treble filtering in famitracker on 20000 hz, so it's pretty much not filtering anything and mp3 compression making it even worse, which became extremely obvious in this song.
An oversight, though i had this setting at 20000 hz for years, but i didn't know any better since i had different headphones back then. Perhaps it's just this particular song that has way too much treble.
If anyone finds those high frequencies bothersome, I'll put another render of this song on youtube soon with them tamed down a little bit, you can find it in the description of the video.
