Whatever it is, it did not feel like a chiptune to me, even if it was composed for and played on chips. Appologies for the confusion caused. Let's call in Chiptune then :)

Wow man this had a pretty unique tense feel to it with the parallel leads. Very rule breaking, noice noice. I felt that the drums could have used some greater variation or alternate percussive sounds but I see what you were going for. Cool stuff MM!

Hey guys, thanks for the constructive criticism. I agree. I need to spend time learning to do better percussions with the ADLIB chip.

As to its length... it used to be way worse (a previous version was longer) but it is true that it still has some level of repeated patterns. The original idea was to have this sound like a theme song of sorts, and have the same basic melody be improved upon in succession (with a few intermissions).
