2a03 descriptioncore dn-famitracker fds mmc5 n163 vrc6

Chips: 2A03 + VRC6 + MMC5 + FDS + N163 (two channels but only one was used :p)

Made in Dn-Famitracker (At first in 0.4.0.1, but after seeing that the nsf sounded bad, I finished composing it in version 0.5.0.1 since in my opinion it sounded slightly better (not the nsf)).

This song was being composed to compete in the FAMICOM GRANDPRIX in the fami+ format, but I didn't finish the song in time... later it was going to be for the SUMMER CHIP in the nsf+ format, but when I created the nsf file, it ended up sounding very bad because of the amount of expansions that the song had, so I better upload in this format c:

I made the song as if it was from some level of some SHMUP.

When I did it, I imagined this kind of levels that look like the final level (but for the player is only the first level), examples like this could be the beginning of God of War 2 (I would have liked to give as an example some shmup with a level of this style but nothing comes to my mind xd).

I imagined a very fierce battle between lots of planes flying near the ocean, a battle with many ups and downs(?) and many falls of both teammates and enemies, leaving at the end only one fighter who survived the battle, being the last plane that could watch the sunset.

In the last seconds of the song I wanted to portray the latter, making sound as the plane fell into the sea after running out of fuel and the mission was completed (exactly in the second 03:11), listening as the ocean sounded with the waves that broke around the plane and listening to the birds? flying around.

Maybe I will add more information later? but I think I already talked too much xddd. hope you enjoy :D

(PD and Fun fact: this section [1:50 - 2:15] was a melody that since I was a kid I liked to play it on the piano, and I'm quite happy to have finally put it in a song of this style, although I feel it could have been better, specially at the end where I feel the melody is out of tune a lot (the instrument has pitch 81 and I had to lower it to pitch 80 so it wouldn't sound so out of tune xd))
