That sounds great, would have been a 7 from me if it was closer to the bitpack ^,.^

yeah it was definitely not a great fit for the aurora pic, but when i saw the picture i had a chain of thought that went something like this:

oh cool, this is really pretty and reminds me of the final sovengarde area in skyrim... i bet most people are going to do really etherial atmospheric tracks to match the crazy aurora, i should try to do a battle track... i have made a lot of snes and genesis songs lately, i should do nes this time... wait a sec, none of the pixel arts i remember voting on would be really conducive to a high-energy chippy fight music, and that’s a huge bummer because it’s my absolute favorite kind of vgm... screw it, im crankin the bpm up and making a general-use jrpg/platformer battle track because i feel like it and i want to see it represented in the battles even if none of the pixel art calls for it

so i guess the bitpack did inspire this track (if very indirectly). i knew that people would downvote it because it stuck out like a turd in a punch bowl but idgaf and i regret nothing. mostly writing this for myself because my old man brain is going to forget about the reasons i decided to make such an oddball entry for this bitpack and i don’t want to forget
