You know this kind of jungle was considered IDM back when the terms were a bit unclear. Like a lot of LTJ Bukem's Good Looking Records was called "IDM" by various pro music critiques of the 90s. Funny how time really defines what a genre term is considered to be, by the masses.

Well anyway, sick pseudo oldschool jungle, its two big thumbs up from me!

I haven't heard Jungle being referred to as IDM before, but it's quite possible ;) Personally, when I think of IDM I always think of Aphex Twin, Squarepusher etc. Some tracks by Venetian snares (IDM/Breakcore?) used the amen break in a similar fashion though, just faster and way more glitchy. I think the stuff LTJ Bukem produced usually was referred to as "intelligent DnB".
