But a strong memory is having cut my hand on a broken cup just shortly after I got stuck with a needle because my mother ate prickly pear earlier and maybe missed one in the dishes, at 3 am because I am slow at dishes and started at 10pm when there was literally no room on the counter left for 2 weeks of dishes they were stacked high enough to reach the cupboards above, standing tired being forced to finish before going to bed
