I wish I had more time to do this. Also I don't understand envelopes that well. why would a square wave arp destroy an envelope? Envelope isn't enabled on it so idk.

imho hardware envelopes on ay sucks (i used it on msx-basic "mml" back in the 80s ) - i prefer using volume macros a lot! (which is actually the only way to have "envelopes" on sn, scc, etc.)

technically, i think that the envelope internal counter register always resets when you change the value of any frequency registers, which is what the arp effect does
