my first ever remix!!
I've been away almost this whole week and i've only had a couple chances to work on this, so it's rushed, rough and cluttered, but hey it was alot of fun :D
i hope i have more time for the next compo!
I used the tre slick Medusa to generate ~8 samples, which i then edited and manipulated in tracktion3 as well as audacity
+ shitload of effects
oh and by the way i placed everything by hand (good old copy/paste!) there was no looping involved VERY ANNOYING PROCESS lol i'm going to get reason+recycle seems like a good way to go

Mordekai, the botb system automatically add your track to your favorite because you already listen to your track more than 7 times (if i remember) and the system add your track to your favorite.
And well the idea of this challenge was trying to create a track from the vsti without any copy/paste or sample process.
But well it's your first track and the rulez where kinda not clean.

and anewuser: i've done lots of recordings with... 'physical?' instruments (drums and guitars and stuff) with several different groups of friends and myself but this is my first electronic music recording (other than a chiptune i did 2 weeks ago)
sooo i do have experience with the programs haha :P
and regarding the sound that reminds you of a kick, i beleive it is the reverby-kick you are talking about
all that is is a low square wave from medusa that is slowed down and cut short and filtered for the punch of the kick, then one that isn't cut as short and filtered for less punch and reverb for the tone
