Awww, I really like how this one starts, but it sounds like a buildup to something grand that sadly never happens. Not bad what's there, of course, I just wouldn't mind seeing an "extended mix" of some sort...

I kind of wanted to give Winter Chip a try this time, so I tried to make something. This is pretty much all I can think of because I can't write music, so instead of adding something embarrassing that would make me want to delete it, I settled with it as is :\

Whoa! Your FM instrumental style is inspiring and blows me away. I'm working on a techno-y sounding Mega Drive tune as well, but your transient leads are just incredibly designed here! You better believe I'll be extracting your instruments.

Hey, I like tunes with a lot more variety as well, but sometimes, groundbreaking tunes like this are just as sweet to my circuits... Seriously, thank you for submitting this... I hope you win... even though I'm entering the contest as well! You deserve it.

No they don't! My roommate hates chiptune music, but he liked this track. Sounds like it was made in a modern DAW with subtractive synthesis.

It's possible to also get some cool analog sounds out of the YM2612, along with acid effects using SSG-EG's or CSM special mode. FM is kind of the "Jack of all trades"!

Again, great track Raijin!

If I'm honest, I really didn't think too much of these FM sounds personally. When I was making this, I just thought these FM patches sounded relatively average, and still very suitable for this.

I think I have some much better and more impressive uses of 4OP FM in the form of my Genesis covers that I've done.

Still, thanks for the nice words. I do tend to create my own FM sounds that usually deviate from the norm compared to any games.

Yeah, FM can do these sounds. Good sound selection and arrangement.
