My first BotB entry. I always thought my first would be a C64 tune, since C64 is my thing, but... nah, it's a Super Famicom tune! Inspired by classic 80s electro funk like Egyptian Lover and Pretty Tony, you're getting 808s, synth strings, and my own voice through a vocoder... Hope you like it!

Really nice use of the vocoder. It really sounds like it came from a sample library that a big producer would use. (I don't know if my wording is confusing or not, tell me if it is)

Hey, thank you so much! Not confusing at all - I think I understand, and I really appreciate the compliment. I enjoy messing around with the vocoder!

This would make a great track for a SNES/SFC Demo, I love it!

Cheers! I would LOVE to see a really lengthy, ambitious SNES demo, so I hope that a group will have a go at that one day. We're totally spoiled for demos in C64 land ;)

Hey, I could give that a go some day. I'm actually tempted to do a simplistic music video for one of my entires on this website... and I also have an idea for a second entry of mine.

The biggest obstacle for me doing so? I have the real deal, but I don't have an actual cartridge that allows me to test out my custom programs. I'm also a little bit of a beginner, having only barely programmed anything (although I have programmed a few tests dating back to 2012)... although I do have bsnes+ (although I'm about to partially lose my ability to update that thing). My custom sound driver, which I have attempted to make over four years, is stuck in the initialization phases and is a bit messy (however, I have a working "timer core", which gives me excellent precision as long as I don't neglect to fetch the SPC700 hardware timer for too long). I also have to sort out what assembler I want to ultimately use... previously, I used TASM for SPC700 assembly. I now use asar. And for all of my ROMs that I did program, I used WLA-DX (and boy do I have a messy implementation when it comes to my memory mapping...). I'm not sure about continuing to use that in the long run...
