When I suggested the first gauntlet, the idea I had in mind was that the first format available is 64k, and by entering a submission, you unlock access to the next smaller format, continuing all the way down to 4k. Either that, or 64k is open for a few days before being closed, and only those who submitted to 64k are permitted to submit to the next smaller format that gets opened, and so on.

Perhaps with the new battle engine, this battle could actually be ran as a gauntlet?
