I imagined playing a guitar while scribbling down this in cakewalk pro audio 9, hence why the guitar is made to be as realistic as possible (one channel uses a sound from the GS-set that is a sampled guitar "chk!", like slapping or percussion-strumming the strings, what's that technique called??)
From there all went naturally, and I think it turned out quite nice in the end, 32-voice polyphony friendly but thick sounding. There also more depth to the MIDI than just playing it with MSGS, without ruining that playback. Best of both worlds :D
