Been doing weekly beats this year. Was inspired to enter after I heard the sad news that GEMS co-creator Jonathan Miller passed away.
GEMS gets a bad rap, but it wasn't Jon's fault that lazy American devs didn't write better FM synth patches. Pouring one out for a real one; we don't give enough credit to the devs behind the music software.
I don't know if I did it justice, but I'm glad I submitted.

If you contact an admin (@leftenant on the botb discord) or post a link to the .vgm here, an admin should be able to replace it for you.
I like how a lot of your melodies are singable and catchy. Also nice interplay between melody and countermelody sometimes. I felt like the constant presence of the bass was a bit overpowering, I think I wanted it to maybe drop out, or change more often, or maybe become more punchy -- something to make a bit more space for the other instruments. Other than that, great track!
