i like the playing around with the little descending motif here and the ways it gets permuted or interrupted. cool piece
I went full avant-ambient-abstact here.
It's an attempt to use sound to capture the feel of passive memories after a long day playing outside in the winter snow. Not in a soundtrack sense, but in a more visceral, innate sense.
Especially as a child, one isn't necessarily consciously "remembering" the day's events - but one can close one's eyes and feel the gravity of riding a sled down a hill, or the wince of a stiff blustery breeze in one's face, or the sense of hearing snippets of upbeat mall music, or slipping on ice. Similar to how, after a day in the pool, one almost expects the extra resistance and buoyancy of water.
And then one falls into bed to sleep.
