Party at Summer's End
This is my first time trying out the GBA format, and I honestly really enjoyed it! It was tricky getting Maxmod to work on MacOS at first, but once I did, it was quite a novel experience taking the music I made in OpenMPT and hearing it play back on an actual GBA rom!
Two big sources of inspiration for this one: Hirokazu Ando's soundtrack for the original Super Smash Bros., and the chiptune classic "Flowerguy's Pool Party" by Virt, which has always had a summery vibe to me.
