funute: i think vtcomp is broken :/ i contacted the author about 6 years ago and has no desire to fix it.

reading over the sources it appears that you need to first pack the file in vtcomp first then associate with the vt file.

i've countlessly used the utility but only with about 10% success rate of the output file sounding like the original.

Yep, think I'll just have to accept that :/ (though doesn't matter that much to me since Lyceum sez .vt is accepted too)

It looks like I didn't pack the .vt file but rather just fiddled with the -c and -o options. I'll keep that in mind next time I use VicTracker...if I ever do?
