love the level of breathing room! played really well into some of the sgen's strengths in my opinion, particularly those long droning fm sounds. they fit so well here and maintain a level of evenness and consistency that i think is harder to find in other chips of the time, esp with samples.

this is how i would imagine a sega version of metroid to sound like

gotoandplay is right that this does give the Metroidesque vibes, and blade runner sci-fi vibes. Lovely work on the pads, everything blends smoothly and has such a vast, large sound. I love the choir that comes in.
