getting the "riding through space" vibes for sure! i think if the motion of the main 8th note line followed more of a direction, like rising or falling for a little while, or had some more rhythmic variation (especially adding rests), or both, it might be more musically effective. the rhythmic variation thing is also true of the percussion imo
