Damn, this is very good, but idk about the FM part, even despite it uses Sytrus, its rather far from '''typical''' FM type of sound. Also is the bass at 2:05 sampled?

The bass is played in a sampler, but I wrote all of the parts in the song. the part at 2:05 might just sound familiar, because octaves on a slap bass part are pretty common.

Yeah, it just grooves very nicely, but aside of a very solid composition i wouldn't mind a version with much more audible/powerful lows - it's a bit tinny rn

The awful drums ruin a really a great song a bit

2. I actually turned down the lows, since everything got really unbalanced really quickly where they were originally.
3. About the drums: If you don't like them here, you should hear how badly Soundcloud gargles the hats.

If there was one thing I'd say this needed, is some fuller drums and especially more "pungent" bass. Otherwise, this is great!

I think the drums are fine. Rolling off the highs from the cymbals might help with the SoundCloud, though they won't stand out in the mix as much.
