Northside Settlement
On a planet with extreme seasons, a society of nomads must migrate between hemispheres twice a year as their current locale becomes inhospitably warm -- bouncing forever between winter and spring, as summer is the season of death. Once their newest settlement is complete and winter settles in, they celebrate their passage from one side of the planet to the other through dances and games involving jumping through hoops, and celebrate their resilience by building a tower, which they then make a show of attempting, and failing, to destroy.
Whether this picture communicates any of that, I have no idea! I was very busy today, so this is just a 30-minute pencil sketch, and I have very little experience sketching things.
