Neon Drift (YM2151)
Here's an 80's synth wav track I've been messing with over the last few days in Deflemask with the Sega Arcade chip. It was a bit of a pain to balance all of those channels in the tracker without it clipping but I'd say the end results made all the tweaking worth while. The tune is a bit of a loop fest listen until the very end as it kind of semi-loops twice and then does a new part before it completely ends to a loop and fade. I hope you guys enjoy this one as I put a decent amount of time into it. Thanks for listening :).

Maxvdub, I was trying to imitate the powerful sound of synthwave drums in the mix. I admit it turned out a tad overdone, but if I had to make a choice between being a bit too quiet or a bit too loud I'd go with the latter because it is kind of what I wanted even if it isn't exact. Deflemask with YM2151 has a tendency to clip if everything is too loud. So, this is the result of perhaps taking the wrong things down in volume to get that to no longer happen. I've only done a few things with this chip so far so I suppose you could say I'm still learning how to balance it properly. That was a valid question so I felt I ought to answer it.
