Abstract: Author seeks to analyze and provide a number of insights on the pdf format on Battle of the Bits (BotB). A personal recollection of the general history of document formats and PDFs as well as its history on Battle of the Bits (BotB) as an entry format. The analysis starts with an overview of some general statistics of the pdf entries submitted so far. Some analysis is also done on what software is used for these entries and the contents of these entries. Commentary on the philosophical purpose of renders on the BotB entry pages is provided for discussion.
(This is a dumb and silly entry in retrospect, and I only half regret spending so much time on it.)
