Music is magic, which sometimes can save you from dark beasts by soothing their fierce nature.
These two towers are one tower which exists in two parallel realms.
Dark beast hunts the character in one of these realms. Could it be that the beast in one realm is the guy that holds the lyre? Heck if I know!
As you can guess, I have only a vague idea of what is happening on this picture. Surrealism!
