In a way, Mario Paint breaks every crutch I normally rely on when making music -- I tend to fall back on messing around with timbre and rhythm, or quick-and-dirty key changes by transposing, none of which are really possible here. I'm only 65% joking when I say I had an easier time with Pure Data.
