Something different.

Lots of vocal tracks...the 'aaaah' pad sound is derived from singing "ahh" for 3 measures on every chromatic note that I can sing (3 1/2 octaves), doubling that, loading each pair into Logic EXS24 and looping. An improvement to my original "Moot-o-tron" for Reason NN19.
The bass and lead sounds were made by loading the saw sample into EXS24 and feeding it to the Synthesizers.com modular in place of its own oscillators.
There's beatboxing.
There's a chopped and screwed Apache break.
All other sounds are just manipulations of the saw in EXS24.

Recorded in Logic Pro and mastered in Adobe Audition.
I'm really proud of this one.

regarding "Mellotroning" your own voice, you may want to consider looping your voice instead for the 10cc "I'm Not In Love" sound. Good job.

It's funny...I thought I was so original back in high school when I first started playing with 1/4" tape loops...Of course one of my first experiments was vocal loops. Then I read about how 10CC did "I'm Not In Love" and was just like...welp. That was ahead of its time!
I can pretty much achieve that effect with my "Moot-o-tron" vocal samples using a volume pedal and tons of reverb and delay. It's a really versatile pad-esque sound...I encourage everyone with knowledge of samplers to make a vocal pad like that.
Note: it also works great on a Casio SK-1.

Do you have Kontakt? I can make the Moot-o-tron into a Kontakt instrument! I was thinking I already did, but I did it in Logic EXS24 instead. I also have a Reason NN-19 version.
