You give me 8 namco channels, imma use 8 namco channels. Originally I had this really cool bitcrushed chord sound, but unfortunately the instrument data kept overflowing. That wasn't the first thing I tried though so i ended up gutting half of the namco instruments so it's not as complex as I would like but I really do not feel like fucking around, and I still think it sounds pretty good.

although i am generally pretty sensitive to the 16khz multiplexer hiss from using all the n163 channels, i feel like you made it work for the overall sound/vibe of your tune. catchy!

I am all too familiar with n163 instrument overflow woes...doesn't help that famitracker can't share wavetable memory between instruments.

The mp3 render is kinda unlistenable for me... this might be controversial, but I have seen prior precedence for submitting n163 renders without the hiss, even though it is not hardware accurate. I suppose that's up to the admins though.

Anyway, listening to the .nsf without the hiss, the track sounds great! I especially like the percussion work, sounds very smooth and glued together in a satisfying way.
