yes i've done it with nice "Carillon Player" for GB. Sadly i havn't the real GB hardware at home. Player and GB SoundChip are very nice ;)

nice tune rio.
though, for such kind of tune i guess lsdj is a tad nicer, it has something called groove sequencing, that's changing how long each single note step takes.
