I was binging the Initial D anime while working on this, so all that eurobeat was in my brain and influenced the direction most likely. Had also been thinking for a while that the MT-32 could do those trancey, super-digital detuned saw sounds pretty well.
Mostly using custom timbres created with SoundDiver, other than a few of the stock drum sounds, recorded from hardware.
