A seedy bar. Jazz plays in the background as a man walks in. He approaches the bartender and asks for the hardest thing he can throw at him. Money is no problem, but make it quick. The drink shoots down the bar as the man catches it in one hand and throws it all down in one giant gulp.

You can tell the man has been through something so traumatic, so devastating. His eyes as dead and soulless as if he had just crawled out of his own grave and is now amongst the living.

He asks the bartender for another.
"Keep them coming. Until I can't remember the horrors that I've seen, keep them coming. I need to forget. Drowning myself into numbness is the only way I can feel human again."
