(( this was originally going to be part of a two-act song, with the first half being a treacherous, yet hopeful, journey across the sea, and the second half being an ill-fated, yet well fought, encounter with a trolual.

unfortunately!! i started a new job recently, so I've had less free time. so i went with the second, more battle-y half :] ))

*Your journey comes to a climax as the sea around you begin to broil. You've long been off the map, quite far into uncharted waters, but you didn't believe the tales. You and your crew were adventurers, after all! Prepared for all manner of trial and horror.*

*Unfortunately, you weren't quite prepared for this. The beast explodes out of the water before you have a moment to react. Your ship is torn asunder, and crew tossed into the turbulent waters, disappearing immediately. They've likely gone unconscious, and their fates sealed. But not you.*

*You can put up a fight! You cast a spell that surrounds your body in a protective bubble. You steel yourself, make peace with what will likely be your fate, and plunge into the deep to face off with the Trolual.*
