It's as hot as Satan's Ass.

I hate working with RMT, which is why this is so short.

I haven't tried out the pokey chip, but man that tuning is strange hahaha. It's like the pokey's bass notes are just slightly detuned. But anyway, great work on the track and really making the pokey rock! Your style definitely comes through. I always like your bouncey octave bass lines, solid. Glad you had time to put something cool together while dealing with the crap you were telling me about!

the detuned notes is the result pokey's weak frequency range, sadly. it's much more capable than the TIA in terms of frequency, but gets rid of a lot of the cool sounds at the same time.

atari didn't focus on music when making those, so it's no surprise they don't always sound good for music. but that's part of the fun! except when the tool is also total ass. then it becomes tedious!

Hmm, the first 35 seconds or so reminds me of Castlevania, before the second main part kicks in.

But yeah, this is kick-ass, and I've listened to it on repeat a bunch of times already. The transition to the outro does feel a bit abrupt, but other than that, doesn't seem all that short to me.
