There are five walls blocking the exit. Hit the five switches to disable them. Don't die.
Relatively small map. Probably better than the other one I submitted.

Uses a tiny handful of Boom features but not really -- like, there's a deep water section entirely for the sake of having deep water, and I used the generalized linedefs entirely so I wouldn't have to look at the big list of linedef actions to find what I wanted, I could just select them from a dropdown.

only really tested extensively in prboom+ under boom compatibility mode
but I did load it into DOS Boom like once and all was fine

Oh, and ideally, turn the gamma down to a reasonable level in prboom+ (set gamma to 0 in prboom-plus.cfg, there's also a hotkey to adjust it that I can't remember).

may or may not go and edit this (namely, it starts off pretty exciting, but it ends kind of lamely since you've probably killed all of the opposition and it would be the work of minutes to "port" this back to vanilla Doom)

100%/100%/100% in 7:10 on HMP.

I kind of liked the idea on this one. Played this one on HMP cause I thought there were too many enemies on UV (still felt like there were a lot even on HMP). Still digging the lighting effects.

I actually liked your other entry more than this one. That one felt more different and interesting, but this one's pretty good too.

100%/97%/100% on HMP.

I really liked this! It was extremely flat but, strangely, it was very fun to play! It really felt like I was battling hordes of enemies and I liked that energetic start - it throws you right into the action. (Not so good for getting your bearings usually, but it was very open). As Funute said, those lighting effects are GREAT! I was especially dazzled by that switch pillar with a wall light behind it. Great stuff.

Unfortunately, each switch which controls a barrier was misaligned - you can see the switch repeating at the bottom. Also strange, though not necessarily an error, was the way that the switches started in the "ON" state, and then went red after being pressed. It's not a big deal, but could cause confusion for people who didn't realise it was working that way and ended up ignoring pressable switches and trying to press ones they'd already pressed (because the map looks very similar all over).

Overall, I'd say it's a good level! Great job! =D

Which source port did you use? I just went back and checked the switches and didn't see anything up with them in PrBoom+, and it looked fine in Doom Builder.

the switches being on and being turned off was actually a mistake (but I left it in anyway) :Y
