Goodnight Night
A song about my delayed sleep phases and the phrase I'd often find myself thinking while I watched the moon and stars in the night sky fade into dawn. This song was mostly written in those hours.
A very personal song that I spent many hours tinkering away at. A big thank you to th4 BotBuh fam for inspiration to push my creativity.
I forgot to use samples again so this is just moar YM2612+SN76489 sounds. Written in the latest free Deflemask v0.12.1.

FM mischief is such a good way to put it. there's no shortage of trickery in this song. the sound design and the atmosphere complement one another so well - ultimately a really sentimental tune, but told through a subdued, lightly subversive vibe using textures that are idiosyncratic... and colorful! which is great and fresh! i love the push and pull of the sounds that increase and decrease retriggering speed, those (along with some of the vibratos) help keep this feeling just a bit slippery
