this feels like it'd make for a nice sampled texture in a full track
First time trying bytebeat.
This uses the implementation at greggman.com, with the original Bytebeat algorithm, at 8 kHz.
This allowed me to indulge in my favorite mode of music-making: stumble into a sound texture I like in code, endlessly tweak the parameters to make it imperceptibly better, and not worry too much about large-scale structure.
I'd like to see more Signalist majors!
I'm not sure if this uses the number 13 in a creative way; instead, I just tried to make every important number a multiple of 13.
EDIT: The render of this sounds very different from how it did on the website -- I imagine sample rates are to blame. I'm fine with it, though!
