Oh Intel Mac...
...my poor old iMac G5 has failed after seven years...
...I'm lucky I can continue my regular operations mostly unscathed.
I gather intel for the Intel Mac each day I'm on here...
...and perhaps I gather intel for more modern technology.
I'm still probably three years backwards version-wise, but it is critical that I still have most of my PowerPC friends... 'lest the lion slash my selection of applications.
I hope this computer lasts a decade... as the G5 only lasted 7 years while I was on it... and it was the highest maintenance computer I've ever had. I'm probably as clingy to the computer I have now as I was with the G5... once again, I'm afraid of losing a good chunk of software again (my utilization of Mac OS 9 software was next to zilch, but it was still of good use to someone else)...

Wow, this is really well composed; it's on my top list for sure. Seems like a lot of careful planning was made and that really helped out this piece. Wonderful job.
