there was nothing in the rules against using the amen break for the drums.
it could have gone better but I still think it's good.

I do always like me some amen. Nice chops too!
I kinda thought there could be a bit more powerful or punchy FM bass to go with the amen, but this more laidback vibe works too. I do like when the bass does a sort of hemiola rhythm thing.
This track switches between the same two chords a lot, might be cool to throw in some different ones now and then, even different voicings of the same chord might help spice it up a bit.
Cool idea to mix GEMS with amen!
